If you’re seeing this, the site behind it is likely broken!

Hi, there. I use these course sites as little sandboxes to experiment with and learn various “brand new” CSS properties—and your browser does not support (at least) one of them. Apologies. It “should” always work in current/updating Safari and Chrome!

      Our Fourth Project

We’ll go through the rest of your next project in detail:

      Project Nº 4: Links

      Let’s Meet JavaScript

We’ll spend the second half of class today getting acquainted with JS:

      An Intro to JavaScript

And an addendum to our previous discussion on DevTools, The Console:

      DevTools (Web Inspector)

      For Next Week

      • Read through both topics from today, as we’ll run out of time! We will pick back up with them next week, but the more you prep the better JS will “stick”:

        An Intro to JavaScript

        DevTools (Web Inspector)

      • You’ll be completing the next phases of your Links project:

        Project Nº 4: Swap Collections

Connect with your classmates—both whom you are handing your collection over to, and whom you are receiving a collection from. Ask them what you need to get a feel for your the collection and the rest of your work. Add 10 items to your new, adopted channel to “get a feel for the water.”

      • And then start into your code:

Project Nº 4: Static Content Sketching

Start your links repo, roughing out your semantic DOM, pulling down examples from your channel for some blocks, and beginning with your styles. For next week, we want to see an example of each content type image (or video), text, and link and the start of your layout and design vocabulary.

      • Make sure we have all your links, as is custom:
